Surrounding Area

Menan is an ideal location for any outdoorsy character. For a sight seeing and naturistic individual there are many beautiful places to see and view. Mesa Falls is a popular scenic drive for both tourist and residents alike. Several other places such as Island Park, West Yellowstone, and Jackson Hole also offer scenic drives and beautiful hikes. The Menan Buttes area offers a short hike that unveils the Snake River and Grand Tetons to the East. The riverbottoms have been known to be home to moose and deer alike.

The area is also famed for the Sand Dunes just North of Rexburg. Auto and outdoor enthusiasts find a great deal of fun mudding through the backroads and taking their motorbikes and side by sides out for a ride. The river offers exceptional fishing; the hunting season around here is great as well.
